The world’s biggest burnout competition, the Pro Burnout Series presented by Castlemaine Rod Shop, is back for 2025, boasting an epic lineup of 19 tyre-frying events spanning Australia and New Zealand. The 2025 series will culminate with the Grand Final at the Street Machine Summernats 38, where competitors will battle it out for a staggering $50,000 first-place prize—part of a total prize pool exceeding $70,000.

The Summernats proudly supported by Rare Spares is the grand final of a series of incredible events from Australia and New Zealand. From Summernats 37, the winner of the toughest burnout competition on the planet will receive $50,000 prize money and be crowned the best burnout driver in Australia and the world.
Further increases in prize money in both the top and second tier competitions at Summernats take the overall burnout prize pool to over $70,000.
There are two paths to qualification. One is by excelling at a Pro Burnout Series event, and the other is by competing as a Wildcard in one final effort to make the big show at Summernats.
