How to Enter Your Car
Follow these three simple steps to enter your car into Street Machine Summernats 39

Welcome to Street Machine Shed
Your one-stop shop for your entry into Australia’s biggest automotive events, including Street Machine Summernats, Meguiar’s MotorEx, and more.

Step 1: Set Up Your Profile
Add your personal information to your account. You'll never have to enter it again unless your details change.

Step 2: Build Your Shed
Add your car to your Shed (you can add more than one). It will be waiting for you when it's time to enter and event.

Step 3: Grab your entry
When entries go live, log in, select your car, choose your tickets, merch and add-ons, then check out. You can also add spectator season passes during this process.
How To Add Photos To The Shed
Your Shed profile is the first thing our judges and selection panel see. The photos you upload directly impact your approval and nomination opportunities.

WHY GOOD PHOTOS MATTER
There are four key reasons we need high-quality images:
- Faster approval – Clear, detailed photos allow us to accurately assess your build. Limited or poor-quality images can delay approval or affect selection.
- Feature nominations – Your Shed photos are used when selecting vehicles for opportunities such as the Braddon Fringe Festival or City Cruise.
- Awards presentations – Images from your profile may be displayed on-screen during award ceremonies.
- Media and publishing – Street Machine may use Shed images for editorial and promotional content. If we cannot clearly see your car, we cannot properly judge it.
WHAT PHOTOS WE NEED
Upload sharp, well-lit, high-resolution images. No screenshots or blurry night shots.

REQUIRED ANGLES
- Main photo – Three-quarter front or rear angle showing the full vehicle, including number plate
- Side profile – Full side-on shot
- Interior – Clear image of the cabin and key features
- Engine bay – Clean, detailed shot of the engine bay
PHOTO TIPS
- Take photos in daylight where possible.
- Avoid cluttered backgrounds.
- Ensure the car is in frame.
- Clean the car before snapping a photo.

What Happens After You Apply?
Once your entry is submitted, here’s what to expect:
Entry Review
All applications are reviewed to ensure they meet event requirements.
Approval
You will receive an email once your vehicle has been approved. Approval timing is TBC.
Next Steps
Approved entrants get full entrant information and next steps inside The Shed and the Entrant Party Guide. Once you are approved:
- The Shed is your live entry dashboard, updates and key instructions
- The Entrant Party Guide is your official pre-event and onsite reference

Sanctioning
Summernats is sanctioned by Motorsport Australia.
This means the event operates under Motorsport Australia safety and competition regulations.
All vehicles participating in driving events must pass scrutineering in line with Motorsport Australia standards and the Event Supplementary Regulations.

Rules & Safety
ACT Police and WorkSafe have made it clear that everyone must keep their cool on the Cruise Route, as we always do.
If you do the wrong thing on the Cruise Route, you risk being removed from the event. Worse still, your actions could shut the show down for everyone, for a day or even permanently.
- BURNOUT PAD IS FOR BURNOUTS
- SKID ROW IS FOR SKIDS
- CRUISE ROUTE IS FOR CRUISING
- SEATBELTS ON
It really is that simple. Safety and behaviour matter. They are the reason this event exists and the reason it continues year after year.
Failure to follow directions or any unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal from the event.

Entrant Documents
The following applies to Summernats 39 entrants. Some details will be updated as they are finalised.

Camping
Camping is the best way to experience everything Summernats has to offer.
When booking camping, you will be asked a question on the application form. Please select the option that applies to you:
- I don’t need a campsite
- I camped last year and want to rebook
- I’m a new camper and would like a campsite
Our camping team will then be in touch.

Parking Passes
Entrant-only parking for Summernats 39 must be secured through your Street Machine Shed.
There are three vehicle pass options for entrants, plus dedicated trailer parking. Secure the correct pass early to avoid arrival issues and ensure smooth entry.
P1 Additional Entrant Parking - Located outside Gate 7, exclusive to entrants. One pass per entrant (subject to availability), purchased via your Shed profile. Does not cover your entered vehicle. Unregistered vehicles can exit via Gate 9 to access P1.
Onsite Campsite Vehicle Pass - Required if you want a vehicle parked on your campsite. Must be purchased when booking. Vehicle cannot be moved until Sunday afternoon. If you leave earlier, you must park in P1 at your own cost.
Competition Support Vehicle - Available only to entrants competing in the Pro Burnout Series Grand Final or Burnout Wildcards. Eligible entrants will be contacted directly.
Trailer Parking - Located outside Gate 7 and free for trailers only. Vehicles parked with trailers require a P1 Parking Pass.
