Driving Events

Pro Burnouts Series Presented by Castlemaine Rod Shop
The Pro Burnout Series presented by Castlemaine Rod Shop crowns the toughest skid cars and drivers in the country. Qualification is limited and every run is judged to the highest standard.

Pro Burnouts - Wildcard Shootout
The Pro Burnout Series – Wildcard Shootout is the final gateway into the Grand Final. One run, no safety net. Only three drivers secure their place.

Pro Burnouts - Grand Final

Open Class Burnouts
Open Class Burnouts is where Summernats legends are made. Tyres get shredded, engines scream and only the toughest make it through.

Motorkhana
Motorkhana is precision driving at its sharpest. Tight courses, quick reactions and no margin for error. Every tenth counts. Held on the Burnout Pad, it's a battle against the clock where control and accuracy matter more than outright power.

Heads-Up Go-To-Whoa
Heads-Up Go-To-Whoa tests acceleration and braking in equal measure. Launch hard, hit the marker, then stop dead on target. It rewards control, timing and commitment. Held on the Burnout Pad, it's harder than it looks and every movement counts.

Haltech Horsepower Heroes & Dyno Exhibition
This is where horsepower is proven in public. Strap down, throttle in and let the numbers speak. Haltech Horsepower Heroes is a defining feature of Summernats, with multiple classes, trophies and bragging rights on the line.
