Aussie burnout heroes S1CKO, 1TUFHG and HOLDON heading to Ice Cream Cruise in the USA!

Pro Burnout series legends Jake Myers, Warren Gersekowski and Ryan Peason are set to light up the burnout pad in the land of the free this September, hitting the burnouts at the Ice Cream Cruise at the I29 Dragway in Iowa, USA.

The Ice Cream Cruise is not a bunch of ice cream trucks parking up in town. It is actually a full on car festival held at the I-29 Dragway in Pacific Junction, Iowa put on by 1320Video and Off the Line Performance.

Headline acts include a road course, drag strip, car show, roll racing, and a burnout contest, which Summernats have partnered with this year toco-sponsor the burnout pad and to bring the Pro Burnout legends across the pond. Oh, and there’ll also be around 150-200 dogs walking around off lead on the Saturday, so what more could you ask for!

This year’s event takes place on 26-28 September, with our Aussie burnout legends hitting the pad on both Friday and Saturday. We spoke to Jake Myers about what’ll be his first time blazing rubber on US soil.

“It’ll be my first time in America, so nothing like jumping in and going straight to it at a burnout comp,” he says. “I’m keen to support the 1320Video boys, they’ve always looked after us when they’ve come to Australia for ‘Nats events, so I’m keen to return the favour.

“I’m also excited to see what the Americans think of a right hand drive Mustang, and a Ford-powered Aussie burnout car, I’m betting it’s the first time they’ve seen one.”

Jake was also interested in the competition the Americans will be throwing his way in the burnouts, including Zach Pennock’s blown 1958 F100 pick up, and Lacey Blair in her pink Dodge pick up.

“It should be some solid competition, the Americans have come a long way with their burnout game, so I’m excited to get there and have some fun!”

There’ll be more drivers announced for the 2025 Ice Cream Cruise, so stayed tuned!
