Street Machine Summernats will bring burnouts, drifting, show cars and cackle sessions back to North Queensland when Summernats Goes Troppo returns to the NTI Townsville 500 from 10 to 12 July 2026.

The three-day program will transform the Supercars weekend into a huge celebration of horsepower, tyre smoke and sideways action, with multiple Summernats shows running across the event.

One of the headline moments will land on Friday night, when the Twilight Show turns the smoke all the way up.

The feature Wildcard Shootout will give burnout competitors one shot at securing a coveted Pro Burnout Series Wildcard, with tyre-destroying runs and non-stop drift demonstrations combining for the loudest show of the weekend.

Leading the charge is a stacked field featuring crowd favourites including Heath Waddington’s legendary BLOWNHJ and GEEWIZ, Ryan ‘Bubba’ Lofts in ORWHAT, Mark Schwarz with both HANFUL and SYCO PTH, Bobbie Stevens’ DATS’ON, Kev Davis’ EPA WHO, Russell Harris in LOO5E, Mat Stachurski’s JUICE and Karl Stevens’ tyre-murdering Hino truck JOBSON.

Sharing the spotlight is an all-star drift line-up ready to keep the action flowing between burnout sessions.

Fans can expect huge angle, screaming engines and door-to-door precision from drivers including Mercurial Mouse, James Scott, Ben Isaacson, Kyle Watson, Jason Muller, Jason Heinrich, Kyle Sapitula and more as they throw everything they have at the purpose-built course.

The action will continue away from the pad, with the Street Machine Car Display showcasing an impressive line-up of custom, classic and modified machinery across the weekend.

The Summernats Goes Troppo merchandise stand will also be packed with exclusive event apparel alongside official Pro Burnout Series and Street Machine gear.

With multiple burnout and drift shows running daily, cackle sessions firing throughout the weekend and plenty of chances to meet the drivers, there will be something happening between the Supercars racing across all three days.

Summernats Goes Troppo is included as part of the NTI Townsville 500 event program.

If you thought the NTI Townsville 500 could not get any bigger, think again.

Summernats Goes Troppo will bring the full burnout, drift and show car experience to Townsville, giving North Queensland a serious dose of Summernats smoke. For tickets or more information visit supercars.com/events/2026-townsville
