Meguiar’s MotorEx, presented by LMCT+, is a staple in the Aussie elite car show calendar each year, taking over Melbourne Showgrounds on the first weekend of May for a two-day showcase of Australia’s top-tier show and go machines. 

This year, organisers have revamped the entire event around a new ‘Worlds’ concept. There’ll be separate worlds for 4×4, drifting, exotics, trader stands and more, including our own Street Machine Custom World right next to Gate 1!

Street Machine Custom World

The big news is that the elite unveilings are moving into the large Street Machine Custom World area, providing a dramatic and exciting backdrop for the covers to come off at 1pm Saturday.

We’ll also be hosting the Street Machine Hall of Fame, including iconic cars such as Howard Bell’s LITRE8 Torana and Chris Christou’s HO775 XY GT.

And that’s not all! We’ll have some of the toughest drag-and-drive cars from Drag Challenge on display, and in a new addition to MotorEx this year, they’ll also cruising down Real Street on both Saturday and Sunday!

Cruise Sessions

Along with our own Drag Challenge legends taking part in cruise sessions on both days, there’ll be Tuff Car Cruising at 2pm Saturday and 12pm Sunday. The Pro Burnout series heroes will also have their own cruise sessions throughout both days (4pm Saturday and 2pm Sunday), so Meguiar’s MotorEx is no longer a static car show!

Meguiar’s Superstars World

The Meguiar’s Superstars World will host all the best show cars you either missed or want to see again from Street Machine Summernats, and it’s also where the Super Six and MotorEx Grand Master will be crowned.

Drift World

The Drift World will play host to the Drift Cadet drifting and ride-alongs, as well as the Hot Wheels Drift Gymkhana and Super Trucks Stunt shows.

Car Builders 4×4 World

If you’re a secret lover of getting dirty, the new Car Builders 4×4 World near Gate 8 is where you can check out the country’s best off-grid rigs, from utes to SUVs and trucks. It’s not just about low and fast cars at MotorEx; you’ll find plenty of inspiration to spice up your tow rig, daily driver or weekend camping machine here.

All New Worlds

If you choose to walk in via the car park and Gate 8, the first world you’ll encounter is the All New Worlds pavilion, which will be filled to the brim with exotic supercars and top-notch European and Japanese rides.

Dyno World

This year, the dyno at MotorEx moves to just outside Street Machine Custom World. They’ll have plenty of toughies running up all weekend, including the Dyno Monsters 3000hp Shootout on both Saturday and Sunday!

Mobil 1 Performance World

The MotorEx trader hall has been rebranded as the Mobil 1 Performance World, where you can check out all the latest products from the industry’s best aftermarket parts suppliers, and maybe score a few freebies while you’re there. There’ll also be some awesome rigs in the build!

LMCT+ Stage

LMCT+ will present a new live activation stage at MotorEx, which will include an ultra-rare chance to get up close with Adrian Portelli’s personal collection of hypercars, including his brand-new Koenigsegg Jesko – one of just two in the country. LMCT+ members will also get a chance to win $50,000 cash in the LMCT+ Games at the event.

E-Sports World

The E-Sports World will host sim racing across the weekend, including the finals of the Victorian State Championship. In between, there’ll also be celebrity races, and the chance for punters to have a crack as well.
